Furman senior Wilkerson Given won the men’s race of the 2012 Mountaineer Open Cross Country Meet in Boone, N.C., on Friday, turning in a time of 15:38.17 on the 5K course, while Paladin sophomore Sinead Haughey won her second-straight meet of the season, claiming first place in the women’s 5K with a time of 18:11.54. There was no team scoring at the event.
